Signs you are upgrading and developing your life
Signs your life is upgrading
In a positive way!
Hello everyone I'm Deeksha back with yet another blog. This blog is different from rest of my blogs where I shared my life experiences or personal opinion regarding some political issue. Today I'll just pen down some signs or habits that I feel indicates an upgradation in the PAST YOU!
Sometimes, to know your present and predict the near future it is very important to take 2 steps back and get a clear view of your life. Just stop, take some steps back, go to your recent past, think, analyse and tell me have you experienced any of the below listed changed in yourself:
1) You are now a different person from what you were 3 months back
If you feel a positive change in your life in the span of 3-4 months that is noticeable to either you, people around or both that has changed your character in a positive manner then yes my friend you are on the right track, your life is gradually improvising and upgrading. If people stop for 2 minutes between the conversation to appreciate a positive change in you or just simply tell you that you have changed and they are liking the new you then yes keep on developing yourself!
2) You love to experiment
Most of the people just like to go with the flow and fear to try new stuff in terms of both personal and professional life. If you are ready to experiment in either of them and even had started to experiment whether it being getting a new funky haircut or trying new experiences , learning something new that you avoided earlier or a drastic decision regarding your career then my friend I think you are uplifting your character because those are the small steps that makes major changes. Experimenting introduces us to a whole new world of experiences and trust me at the end those are the experiences that helps a human, whether they were the bad ones or a overwhelming good experience, so yea try to experiment either minimal or drastic-your choice and adapt the change.
3) You have learnt to enjoy the process
Most of us just focus on the final destination, the life after success but in reality the final destination is not only what matters. The journey to the destination, the experiences you had, the books you read, the knowledge you acquired, the people you met and all that you retained throughout the process is what that matters. So, I believe if you are equally paying attention to the journey as the final point then with the end of each journey you are taking your life skills go a step up. Why to stop after attaining the high point, begin a new journey, take small steps and some breaks in between definitely you'll feel a change.
4) Being competitive is no longer is the only goal of yours
If we talk in literal means, whenever comes a competition, competitiveness comes as complimentary to it. I can't deny to fact that being competitive and keeping a check of your competents adds to your productivity, but what I mean is that during a process, being competitive should not be the only thing at what you should focus. As I said in last point, enjoy the process, learn soft skills, acquire knowledge, try to socialize too while being competitive. Come up to your own ethics and try to walk in the line with them. If you'll become the part of a RAT RACE, what you'd be called is a rat, following your ethics and not just focusing in being competitive will surely withdraw that rat phase and add value to you.
5) Regret makes you more sore than being unsuccessful
The thought of being unsuccessful only could burn our soul, but staying in regret of not doing something could even be worse. Read in an article of Dainik Bhaskar lately that regret killing you more from inside than being unsuccessful in a base sign of adulting and maturity. If going on a 4 day trip with your friends means the exhaustion of all your savings then it's better to go on the trip sometimes because the regret of not able to go will toast your heart, money could be saved later on too. But yes, it's also true as Naina Talwar from YJHD said, "Kitni bhi koshish karlo Bunny, zindagi mein kuch na kuch chutega hi!' I further add to it '...aur uska regret bhi hoga hi Bunny". So basically what I mean is that we cant avoid regretting completely but we could reduce out regrets.

Is my life upgrading? my reviews and opinions point wise-
1) point checked ☑
Recently got a compliment from my friend Maryada that she sees a positive change in me. I've become more extrovert and lively that I was 6 months back.
2) point checked ☑
Tried to go out of my comfort zone and attended some courses, tried to experiment with my hobbies , learnt to cook a bit, earlier used to read just fictions, read some many of non fictions and even tried out my hands on a sewing machine even though it was just making some scrunchies and tassels.
3) point semi checked ☑
I've always liked to enjoy the path not just the destination so can't count it as an upgradation but yea I have this quality
4) point denied ☒
Till now, I've only focused on being competitive, but from now onwards, I'll truly try my best in focusing more to build my ethics.
5) point checked ☑
2 years back when I passed m 10th std., I was so much of a person who'll miss out on something for saving something for later and regretting afterwards. But could proudly say that now I am person for whom new experiences are over rest, I now hate the idea of regretting later.
That was about my life upgradation, do share your upgradation checklist in comments, I'd love to read yours.
